The base of this bug is exactly the size of my 50's era Blue Racer. The paint is black crackle and seems original.
There was no nameplate top and no markings on the bottom. Although I'm not sure, it looks like the vibrating arm
may not be original. See the dot tension spring? The hole in which it rests on the vibrator is slightly forward
of the tensioning screw. As well the lever arm is not long enough to allow for setting up for a right handed
person...  All this suggested to me that the entire lever arm may be from another bug.

Any ideas about the date of this bug, manufacturer or anything else would be appreciated.  The last owner,
VE7JM is long gone.
